- How to reach San Lorenzo de El Escorial
San Lorenzo de El Escorial is located 45 Km. northwest from
Madrid. It can be reached by car, train or bus.

If you come by train, you must take the Cercanías trains.
You can choose between some stations: "Atocha", "Recoletos",
"Nuevos Ministerios" or "Chamartín". For more

All these stations are connected with Madrid’s underground, they are also

If you come by bus, you must take the Autocares
Herranz line which depart from:
- Madrid : Intercambiador de Moncloa , in the undeground station

- San Lorenzo de El Escorial : Plaza Virgen de Gracia.

If you come by car, you have to take the N-VI Highway (familiarly
known as "Carretera de la Coruña") which starts at Moncloa.
At Las Rozas (km. 17) you have to take road M-505 which takes you
directly to El Escorial.
With normal traffic, it takes arround 35-40 minutes.

- How to reach Victoria Palace Hotel
| Victoria Palace Hotel is located very close to San Lorenzo's Monastery.
If you come by bus, the station is located in Plaza Virgen de Gracia,
close to the location of the Hotel in Juan Toledo Street.
If you come by train, you must follow "Carretera de la Estacion"
to reach Plaza Virgen de Gracia and then Juan de Toledo Street where the
Hotel is located. It is a long way walking from the station to the
Hotel. You should take a taxi at the train station.
